Winter of 1991 was a very significant period for me. This was the time when I had my first Personal Computer. It was a IBM-PC compatible based on 80286 with a soft-white monitor supported by a Herculese Graphics Adapter. Keyboard & Mouse were connected to serial ports running on sesial cards. Voltage stabilizer was bigger than the CPU, or what was then called a Cabinette. It was flat & heavy.
It was a marvallous machine. I spent day & night playing around with the MS-DOS 3 and the utilities that came with it. Soon I discovered a built-in programming language (rather an interpreter) called GW-BASIC. And with it began a journey into the wonderland which continues till today.
